PAINTING

Today is my first day painting in my new Summer studio, its in my back yard!!!! Its a very raw space, feels great! I don't have to worry about ventilation, and I spoke to the squirrels who occasionally visited.

It has been a year since I last painted, in the traditional sense.

It has been two years I have been carrying a thought, that maybe ready to emerge in these new paintings?

I am tingly and excited!

I'm really grateful that I didn't have a studio this past year, if you asked me earlier I was pissed about it and frustrated. I am a student learning patience(divine time). This past year my work expanded off the canvas to include: Performance, Installation, Video, Sculpture, working with recycled materials and found objects. My work took a deeply personal turn, as I opened my heart to the exploration of love, death, and life.

What limits us also directs us. What causes pressure also polishes.

Transformation with every breath.
