FYI, the colors of this painting are a bright chartreuse green/yellow, the colors are much more vibrant and bright! That being said, I grabbed oil paint in the beginning process of this painting, and once you start using oil there is no going back. But much to my chagrin, because oil paint doesn't dry fast enough for me to edit and add freely...I feel trapped in wetness and mushiness. Then I begin to get really frustrated,.....I love oil colors, I love oil on paper, or as last touches, but it is not my first choice for an entire painting. I learn something every time I paint, sometimes its a happy something, and sometimes its difficult...
