This small painting is inspired by the sky and dunes of Martha's Vineyard. When I was there this past weekend, I drove around to look at the ocean, and I experienced a strange phenomena. I was really looking to be inspired by ocean, and i would gaze out towards the waves, the vast magnificent sparkly ocean, but as soon as I turned a complete 180, and saw the sky and the dunes, that's what greatly inspired me. So, this painting is a memory of that...but I did take some photos and am excited to see what I captured there too.
Have an inspired day!

These 2 recent landscapes are so real - the sky and the grass. I can feel being there. I love seeing through your eyes.
