Something fun to note about this painting is that the yellow halo around the Mountains, is actually metallic gold..so in real life it glows, I love those metallics, yummy:)

I havn't built up my mediums in such a long time...I had fun visiting old friends with this painting. I have also begun an affective practice of prepping for tomorrow, which is helping ward off the impatience of waiting for layers to dry.
