* In this study, I really have been enjoying painting what I literally see. It's been incredibly grounding to really look.
* This is a little sketch of what I saw yesterday as I was opening my front door and looking up. The sky yesterday was soooooooooo amazing, and I will surely be doing some more paintings of those clouds.
Life Force 5" x 7" Watercolor & Encaustic on Water Color Paper
$125
* This is a study/sketch that I did the other day...I have some new ideas and things up my sleeve, I'm experimenting, and literally stretching my mind and body, I thought I would show you a little of this new stuff...
Snow Cloud On The Mountain 11" x 17" Encaustic-Mixed Media on Water Color Paper
* The white in the sky is glare from the wax...this painting is very tricky to photograph because its opalescence and translucent colors. I will attempt to take another photo tomorrow, that doesn't catch so much glare.
Hi, I just wanted to notify you all, I will not be posting many daily paintings this week. I am currently cultivating some new work, as well as declaring the need for privacy, which allows me to work uninhibited. With that said, I look forward to showing you soon what I've been up to! xxDawn
Ice Lake5.5"x5.5"x1.5"Mixed Media, Encaustic on Wood $125 * Unfortunately this scan doesn't do justice to the luminosity and colors in the wax, this is really a gem, in its subtle facets of color.
